On Friday, Randeep Hooda kicked off the shoot of Inspector Avinash. The web series is based on the life of Uttar Pradesh’s supercop Avinash Mishra. Helmed by Neerraj Pathak, the unit is shooting at a studio in Mira Road. “Portraying a police officer is exciting and challenging at the same time,” says Hooda. He sports a moustache and a leaner look to get into character. The actor has played a cop in several Bollywood films, but this is true-to-life.
