More than 10 years ago, Rahul Bose made his directorial debut with Everybody Says I&rsquo;m Fine! Though the film was received positively on the film circuit, he hasn&rsquo;t gone behind the camera for his second film since. However, the actor-director is optimistic about ending the delay very soon. But things are about to change. &ldquo;Every year I keep telling myself that I&rsquo;ll get working on this film and then I don&rsquo;t for some reason or the other. But I feel 2013 will be different. Before approaching Anurag, I knocked on the doors of all possible production houses, independent entities and financiers. But none of them showed any tangible interest nor were ready to take a risk,&rdquo; sighs Rahul, who will appear next in Deepa Mehta&rsquo;s screen adaptation of Midnight&rsquo;s Children. So why didn&rsquo;t he move on to some other script? &ldquo;I&rsquo;ve spent more than six years on it and I&rsquo;ve written 18 drafts so far. I could have shifted my attention to something else but the feeling that isse toh mujhe banani hai kept me engaged. Hopefully, we&rsquo;ll start shooting in the middle of the year,&rdquo; Rahul crosses his fingers. Amen. u00a0
