The Coronavirus pandemic has severely crippled the functioning of the Hindi film industry. Some of the most anticipated films were directly streamed on the digital platform and many continue to await their release. The wait ends for one of them tomorrow on Eid and it’s expectedly a Salman Khan potboiler. Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai was slated for an Eid 2020 release and supposed to take on another juggernaut, the Akshay Kumar-Laxmii. Fate had other plans and this Prrabhudeva directorial becomes the first Hindi film to stream simultaneously on ZeePlex pay-per-view and release on selected cinema halls across the world.
The viewing experience is expectedly going to be drastic and different, no one would get to listen to the catcalls and the catharsis that follows. At best, one can whistle in his living room or bedroom while Bhai makes his heroic entry coupled with a swelling background score. The entertainment that promises to lie ahead cannot be denied.
