Usually roped in for films far distanced from comedy, Prateik Babbar is happy to explore his comic streak with Bachchan Pandey. “I love comedy. I am an instinctive actor, one who [appropriately] uses the material that I must deliver. Spontaneity is crucial in comedy. Since I worked with Akshay Kumar, a man with great comic timing, together we managed to pull off some comedy, without trying too hard. People close to me know me to be an absolute goofball. Comedy doesn’t come naturally to me, but I am comfortable with it,” says the actor, who counts himself fortunate to share screen space with Kumar instead of lamenting about being in a supporting role.
