Acclaimed Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra recently wrapped up shooting for the much-anticipated film `Chamkila`, directed by Imtiaz Ali and co-starring Diljit Dosanjh. The movie narrates the life story of the late singer Amar Singh Chamkila, with Chopra portraying the character of his wife, Amarjot Kaur. This intense cinematic venture is now in post-production, leaving Parineeti free to pursue other projects.
Earlier in the year, the announcement of `Shiddat 2`, featuring Sunny Kaushal and Parineeti Chopra, had created quite a stir in the industry. The original `Shiddat` starred Sunny Kaushal along with Radhika Madan, and expectations were high for its sequel. However, due to a clash in Parineeti`s schedule, she was unable to commit to the film, leading to her eventual withdrawal from the project.
