Pahlaj Nihalani: Heard Varun Dhawan's wedding is happening this weekend

David Dhawan`s frequent collaborator Pahlaj Nihalani confirms Varun Dhawan`s shaadi lined up for January 24; Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Karan Johar invited to intimate beach reception.

After postponing his May 2020 destination wedding due to the pandemic, Varun Dhawan is ready to walk into the sunset with his `dulhania`. It can now be confirmed that the actor and his long-time partner Natasha Dalal will become man and wife on January 24 in an intimate ceremony at a beach resort in Alibaug. Contrary to reports that the wedding will be a three-day affair, complete with mehndi, sangeet and reception, mid-day has learnt that the Dhawans have planned a one-day celebration with the shaadi during the day and a low-key reception in the evening.
Producer Pahlaj Nihalani, who backed several David Dhawan movies in the `90s, confirms the development, saying, "I have heard that Varun`s wedding is happening this weekend. But I have not received an invite yet. David and I talk once in a while, but he hasn`t mentioned the wedding to me. I wish the couple all the best."
