The horror-comedy film `Munjya` directed by debutant Aditya Sarpotdar has proven to be a big surprise at the box office. Despite no A-list cast and limited pre-release promotion, the film has managed to attract the audience. Over the first weekend, the film saw tremendous growth by way of word-of-mouth publicity. The film stars Abhay Verma, Sharvari, and Mona Singh in the lead.
On Monday morning, a trade analyst took to social media to share an update on the box office numbers of the film for its first weekend. The film grew from strength to strength as it collected over Rs 4 crore on opening day and Rs 7.4 cr and Rs 8.43 cr on Saturday and Sunday.
