Maha Governor honours actress Zareen Khan for her social welfare activities

Bollywood actress Zareen Khan received the ‘Lok Seva Puruskar’ award for her Social Welfare activities during the outspread of Covid-19 by the hands of His Excellency Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Hon`ble Governor for State of Maharashtra at Raj Bhavan.
The prestigious event began with the tradition of playing the National Anthem followed by the felicitation of the awardees who made a mark by being involved in social awareness and aiding activities ever since the pandemic hit. During her speech on receiving the award, Zareen said, "It truly is an honour to be presented with such a notable award. Being present here at the Raj Bhavan among all these notable personalities is a matter of prestige for anybody. I would like to thank His Excellency Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Hon`ble Governor for State of Maharashtra for appreciating my effort towards contributing to the society."
