Madhuri to star in Vishal's 'Dedh Ishqiya'

Actress Madhuri Dixit Nene will play the female lead in Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Dedh Ishqiya'. Since Madhuri returned to India, there were reports that she will replace Vidya Balan in the sequel to the 2010 hit 'Ishqiya'. But the Bollywood diva kept denying it

Now that she has signed the film, the 44-year-old confirmed it on Twitter. She would also be judging the fifth season of dance reality show 'Jhalak Dikhla Ja' for the second time.u00a0
"Hey guys, back in action. On sets for Star's Life OK. Am doing Dedh Ishqiya. 'Jhalak' right around the corner. More to come!," Madhuri tweeted. Abhishek Chaubey had directed the rural drama, which opened to great reviews and box office collections. The film was produced by Vishal Bhardwaj.
