Kriti Sanon is currently on cloud nine as she received her first National Award today. Kriti was honoured with the Best Actor award at the 69th National Film Awards Ceremony for her role in `Mimi`. In the film, she essayed the role of a surrogate mother.
Now, Kriti Sanon in an interview with Film Companion talked about how male-led films are positioned differently so that they make big money. She said, "It`s a bit of a circle because the male-led films are budgeted and positioned in a very larger-than-life grand-scale kind of format and they end up earning that money and I feel like someone needs to really take the front and the risk on positioning a female-led film on that scale."
