Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan will soon be seen together in the pan-India film `Kalki 2898AD`. Now, Haasan has revealed that he hated the iconic 1975 film `Sholay` that starred Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra in the lead along with Jaya Bachchan and Hema Malini. Haasan had worked as an assistant director in the film directed by Ramesh Sippy.
Kamal Haasan along with director Nag Ashwin and actors Prabhas and Rana Daggubati launched the teaser of Kalki 2898AD and unveiled the title of the film. The film was earlier called Project K. Amitabh Bachchan joined the convention virtually. Praising his co-stars at the event, Kamal said, "What is so great is the energy that our audience brings to our cinema. We make the movies, they make the stars. And, it is an honour to sit with the audience and watch the likes of Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan."
