Shah Rukh Khan`s grand action spectacle, Jawan, is less than a week away from its global theatrical release. The multilingual film marks the Hindi directorial debut of Tamil filmmaker, Atlee. The advance booking window for the massy entertainer opened for fans today. Owing to the high demand for Jawan, several theatres will be opening screens as early as 6 AM and shows will be running till midnight. At select theatres, there are shows every hour.
While theatres are going the extra mile to honour the craze and euphoria around the Shah Rukh-starrer, the ticket prices are higher than any other Hindi film released in recent times. Speaking of popular multiplex chains and select theatres located in prime areas in metro cities like Mumbai, the First Day First Show tickets are touching Rs. 750/-. Some multiplexes are selling tickets at Rs. 2200/-. Despite the exorbitant prices, Jawan`s shows are going houseful at a rapid speed.
