It happened one dark night! Aparna Sen wraps shooting The Rapist

Aparna Sen has finished shooting The Rapist, starring daughter Konkona Sensharma, alongside Arjun Rampal and Tanmay Dhanania. The film went on floors in New Delhi last month. It explores the aftermath of a ‘violent night on the victims as well as the perpetrators of the crime’. The Rapist marks the veteran filmmaker’s third Hindi directorial venture after Saari Raat (2015) and Sonata (2017).
Announcing a wrap, and sharing his shooting experience earlier, Arjun Rampal wrote, "It`s a wrap for me.... #TheRapist it`s been intense and so fulfilling this journey as an actor, working with the prettiest director #AparnaSen who`s vision and clarity and most importantly her passion, her stamina and hard work has been so humbling and enriching."
