A veteran music director, known for his compositions for the film industry in the '70s, celebrated his 71st birthday in the presence of friends, fans and well-wishers.

The event was organised at an auditorium in Central Mumbai, on Saturday. Backed by the music director’s orchestra, well-known playback singers sang his medley of songs.
