At a time when body-shaming and bullying are the easiest ways to target an individual, Huma Qureshi worked on a film called `Double XL,` this film was about self-love and body acceptance.
During an interview, the actress acknowledged experiencing body shaming and being rejected for a part because of her weight. Huma Qureshi while talking to IANS explained how the story of `Double XL` came to be.
"This movie started as a fun conversation with my friends and family. We were all in my living room, and all the actors were complaining about the `post lockdown weight gain` and Mudassar Aziz wrote a story around it," said Huma.
