Celebrated actress and respected political figure, Hema Malini, recently voiced her firm belief in the magic of the silver screen experience. During an insightful conversation with the news agency PTI, she eloquently emphasized the charm and excitement that large-scale cinematic presentations possess. In support of her stance, she cited the remarkable achievements of films like Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, and Gadar 2, a movie involving her stepson, Sunny Deol.
Hema Malini expressed her genuine fondness for the traditional film-watching encounter, saying, "Films on the (big) screen are very different, which we are used to. I`m used to that kind of films... the big screen." While she acknowledged the convenience and accessibility of OTT platforms and web series, she maintained that they cannot replicate the larger-than-life ambiance that theaters provide. The triumphant runs of Gadar 2 and Pathaan upon their theatrical releases only deepened her conviction that the collective love for the big screen endures unshaken.
