Consequently, the veteran producer is said to have reached out to Akshay Kumar to return to the franchise.

Hera Pheri 3 continues to make news. Talk in tinsel town is that producer Firoz Nadiadwala is not too pleased with Kartik Aaryan trying to call the shots on the third instalment of the comic caper. Consequently, the veteran producer is said to have reached out to Akshay Kumar to return to the franchise. However, it remains to be seen whether Khiladi Kumar — who is the netizens’ favourite choice to play the roguish Raju— will reconsider the offer. It goes without saying that his on-screen partners-in-crime, and off-screen friends Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal, who play Shyam and Babu bhaiyya respectively in the comedy franchise, will be thrilled about the reunion. Nadiadwala too might be pleased. After all, he is known to be a hands-on producer, and Aaryan’s reported demands of changes in the script won’t go down well with him.
