After much deliberation over the legal and financial hurdles en route to starting the No Entry sequel, Salman has reportedly dropped the idea

Talk in the trade is that `No Entry Mein Entry` might not happen after all. Salman Khan, who was looking to start filming Anees Bazmee’s directorial venture with Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan in January-February 2023, realised that there are too many legal issues to be sorted as the corporate house backing the 2005 film has shut shop and several stakeholders need to be paid before the sequel can go on floors. This additional cost is causing the budget to skyrocket, and consequently rendering recovery and profitability difficult. Moreover, the possibility of third party claiming rights over the film can’t be ruled out. So, after much deliberation over the legal and financial hurdles en route to starting the No Entry sequel, Salman has reportedly dropped the idea. While Anees is said to be making a superhero comedy next, Salman, too, is on the lookout for a laugh riot.
