Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn
A case has been filed against several Bollywood stars, including Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Farhan Akhtar, Anupam Kher and Rakul Preet Singh, for revealing the name of the woman, who was sexually assaulted, killed and her body set on fire on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The 2019 horrific act had sparked outrage across the nation. The complaint has been filed by a Delhi-based lawyer Gaurav Gulati at the Sabzi Mandi police station. He has also filed a petition in the Tees Hazari Court alleging that the celebrities “were not being responsible citizens.” He accused them of disclosing the identity despite the law prohibiting it. The case has been filed as the stars “instead of setting an example for others” have broken the rule in their social media posts. Some South film folk, including Ravi Teja, Allu Sirish and Charmme Kaur, have also been named in the case.
