It appears that yet another actor is exploring the genre of mythological dramas. Reportedly, Shahid Kapoor is collaborating with Vashu and Jackky Bhagnani for a project based on the epic, Mahabharata. While specific details are being kept under wraps, it is learnt that Sasha will essay the role of one of the most powerful characters from the epic. It is also being said that a south director has been onboarded to helm the VFX-heavy project that will be made on a huge scale. Sources claim that the yet-untitled movie is the Bhagnanis’ most ambitious venture so far and they are looking to give cinegoers a visual extravaganza. The makers plan to take this project on floors in mid-2024. By then, Sasha will wrap up Malayalam director Rosshan Andrrews’s Hindi debut, in which he plays a cop. The actor is also in talks for a masala fare to be produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
