Choreographer Kruti Mahesh, who garnered praise for her work in the Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi,’ speaks to mid-day.com, about starting out as a reality show contestant, winning a National award, her advice for other women choreographers and more.
How do you ensure you stay grounded despite seeing success and receiving a National award early in life?
Success is a byproduct of consistency and honesty. I choose to be consistent and honest with my art. I worship my work place. My family and Friends are always there to keep me grounded, in case I get carried away. The National award is the highest form of appreciation for an artiste and it only makes me strive harder to keep getting this appreciation for my contribution to Indian Cinema and more.
