After 17 years, Sunny Deol as Tara Singh and Ameesha Patel as Sakina arrived with `Gadar 2` on the big screen. In 2001, `Gadar: Ek Prem Katha` proved to be a massive blockbuster and the sequel has recreated the magic. `Gadar 2``s release day was no less a festival as fans arrived in groups to enjoy the nostalgic film directed by Anil Sharma. And now the love has been reflected at the box office.
Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel-starrer `Gadar 2` has opened to a massive Rs 40.1 crore at the box office. They are only second to Shah Rukh Khan`s Pathaan which was released earlier this year. Trade analyst Tara Adarsh took to his Twitter handle to share the first-day collection of `Gadar 2`.
