FTII teachers association condemns arrest of students

<p>The Teachers Association of the Film and Television Institute of India on Thursday condemned the arrest of protesting students, saying the current problems could have been easily solved if police had handled the case differently.</p>

The Teachers Association of the Film and Television Institute of India on Thursday condemned the arrest of protesting students, saying the current problems could have been easily solved if police had handled the case differently.
"We condemn the manner in which students were picked up by police. If the matter would have been handled a little differently, then the problem could have been solved," Kedarnath Awati, president of FTII's Teacher's Association, said in a statement.
