In the fourth season of Karan Johar`s controversial `Koffee With Karan`, Emraan Hashmi along with filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt arrived as guests in one of the episodes. During the rapid fire round, Emraan Hashmi called Aishwarya Rai plastic. The comment had ripple effect on his career as well. The actor had later apologised for his comment.
During his appearance on the show, Emraan Hashmi and his filmmaker uncle Mahesh Bhatt were competing for the Koffee hamper. During the round, Karan Johar asked Emraan to name an actor/actress that comes to his mind when he hears the word plastic. To which, the `Tum Mile` actor quickly gave Aishwarya Rai Bachchan`s name.
