Fashion designer Anjali Phougat speaks about Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu

Who doesn`t want to dress up Miss Universe! But, not many get a chance to do so. Fashion designer is one such person who considers herself lucky that she got an opportunity to dress up the reigning Miss Universe Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu and for quite some time now.
Speaking exclusively to Mid Day Online, Anjali Phougat (owner of `Designer Dream Collection`) said, “Harnaaz has worn my dresses on multiple occasions in different cities. Like she wore during her homecoming. I designed a beautiful mesmerising saree with pearl and crystal detailing. Then she went to the Philippines to judge Miss Philippines USA where I designed a gorgeous couture gown and she wore my jewellery and she wears it all the time for all her appearance like the For Menstrual equity event, for all the social causes she is supporting. Recently, she visited Priyanka Chopra`s restaurant in New York and I happened to be in New York during the same time for the fashion week. She wore my beautiful earrings with a nude beige dress. Most of her New York fashion week appearances had something of mine. During Naeem Khan`s shows on 7 runways, she wore a beautiful Neelam blue sapphire ring that was designed by my line. She wore my diamond crystal earrings and ring to go with her dress and a lot of beautiful looks we curated together. I work very closely with her styling team and, in fact, I met her team during my fashion week, and we spoke about her upcoming events, about looks. I always get messages that Harnaaz loves my jewelry and truly admires designing. Recently, she appeared in the Miss USA pageant as a Jury member, I helped in arranging that couture gown for her look and we did a lot of back and forth arranging gloves, jewellery, bracelets, earrings and she ended up wearing my jewellery for that".
