Farhan: Got slapped in the face with demonetisation when 'Rock On 2' released

Farhan Akhtar spills the beans on Sit with Hitlist
Farhan Akhtar, who recently starred in the sports drama `Toofan`, shared a few tid-bits from his personal and professional life in an interview with Mayank Shekhar for mid-day`s special segment Sit with Hitlist. Talking about sister Zoya Akhtar and how she`s extremely passionate at what she does, Farhan also revealed that she`s more of a people person than he is.
The actor, who won accolades for his portrayal of Milkha Singh in `Bhaag Milkha Bhaag` recalled the time when a woman from Chandigarh had an issue with him playing the part and wanted a Punjabi actor to play it instead. Talking about it, Farhan said, "I thought that if she feels this way, there surely must be others who felt that way too. It actually served as a great motivation; I was thankful that she said it."
