The newest bride from B-town, Athiya Shetty impressed with her fuss-free yet eye-catching look. Celebrity make-up and hair artist, Namrata Soni who has worked with leading actors from Sonam Kapoor to Rani Mukerji is responsible for Athiya’s look on her big day. The actress tied the knot with cricketer KL Rahul at Suniel Shetty’s Khandala bungalow, wearing an Anamika Khanna lehenga.
How Namrata came on board
I’ve known Athiya since the beginning of her career. I’ve done a lot of campaigns and magazine cover shoots with her in the past. Her team contacted me a few months ago and booked me for the wedding. We did a trial and decided on a look to go with her Anamika Khanna outfit in pastel pink. She wanted to look just like she is, almost like she wasn’t wearing make-up. It wasn’t a challenge with her because she has great skin and beautiful hair, all I had to do was enhance her features.
