Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi kick-started the shooting of his upcoming thriller 'Cheat Day' in Lucknow on Wednesday. Taking to Twitter, film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote," #CheatIndia begins filming in Lucknow today [25 July 2018]... Stars Emraan Hashmi... Directed by Soumik Sen... Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Tanuj Garg, Atul Kasbekar and Emraan Hashmi... 25 Jan 2019 release... #RepublicDayWeekend..."
The movie is inspired by the crimes in the Indian education system, which has created a parallel ecosystem infested with a mafia of sorts. Helmed by 'Gulaab Gang' director Soumik Sen, this is the second flick from Hashmi's production house. The movie will hit the theatres worldwide on January 25, 2019.
