Swara Bhasker’s vegetarian parents host a Bakri Eid dinner

On the day of Bakri Eid, Swara criticised a food blogger for expressing pride in being a vegetarian. She later posted pictures of celebrating the festival.

Actress Swara Bhasker, who recently made headlines for calling out a netizen’s ‘vegetarian’ post on the occasion of Eid al-Adha 2024 also known as Bakri Eid, shared pictures of a sumptuous fare that was hosted by her vegetarian parents. The actress is married to politician and activist Fahad Ahmad and has a daughter named Raabiya.
Swara wrote on X, “It was Raabu’s first Bakr-Eid... Even though @FahadZirarAhmad and I weren’t in the same city my parents and friends made this first Eid joyous and celebratory for Raabu. I feel so grateful that my baby has a tribe that knows that festivals are meant to share joy & love. Heart & tummy is full! Blessed!”
