Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday`s Dream Girl 2 has released in theatres globally. Owing to strong pre-release buzz and a loyal fanbase for the franchise, the sequel got a good opening and is growing steadily at the box office. After getting a double digital start, the rom-com drew more audience on Saturday to theatres.
Dream Girl 2 is proving to be a box office winner. On Saturday, the film collected Rs. 14.02 crores. In just two days, it minted Rs. 24.71 crores. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, Dream Girl 2`s first day collection was Rs 10.69 crores. Renowned trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#DreamGirl2 SHINES on Day 2… Gathers speed at metros, witnesses growth at Tier-2 centres… Eyes ₹ 41 cr [+/-] weekend, which is an EXCELLENT TOTAL, more so since #DG2 faces the fury of #Gadar2 at mass sectors… Fri 10.69 cr, Sat 14.02 cr.
