SS Rajamouli told Aamir Khan that he 'overacted' in Laal Singh Chaddha
In an interview with PTI, Mansoor Khan revealed SS Rajamouli`s reaction to Aamir Khan`s performance in Laal Singh Chaddha

Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan`s Laal Singh Chaddha received polarised response when it opened at the box office on August 11, 2022. It was the official Hindi remake of Tom Hanks` Hollywood classic, Forrest Gump. Aamir played the role of a person with an IQ of 75 and Kareena was his ladylove. While a section of people loved his performance in Laal Singh Chaddha, SS Rajamouli found it `overacting`.
In an interview with PTI, Aamir`s cousin and director Mansoor Khan said, "Aamir has a great sense of humour. So one day he laughingly tells me, ‘When you told me it was over the top, I said, ok, you are a subtle guy which is why you might have felt that way. But when someone like Rajamouli tells me overacting lag raha hai, I said to myself, Isko bhi lag raha hai toh kiya hi hoga (If he also feels so than it must be)’."
