Dharmendra takes the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine

Dharmendra`s tweet comes a day after Maharashtra registered 25,833 new Covid cases on Thursday, a new high in the state surpassing the previous single-day peak of 24,886 cases registered on September 11 last year.

On Friday, Dharmendra took the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Earlier in the day, the actor, 85, took to social media to remind people to wear masks and maintain social distancing after the new high in COVID-19 cases. “Mask laga kar baith... lockdown ko lock karna hai ..... toh do gaz ki doori aur mask zaroori,” he wrote. Later, Dharmendra added, “Tweet karte karte josh aa gaya aur main nikal gaya vaccination lene.It’s definitely not to show off, but to inspire you all... Friends, please take care,” the veteran actor said in a video, which was taken while he got a shot on his left arm.
