Veteran actress Waheeda Rehman has been chosen for the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award. Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Anurag Thakur, made the announcement on Tuesday on the micro-blogging site, X (formerly known as Twitter).
Over the years, several veteran actors from the Indian film fraternity were honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award. As we celebrate Ms. Rehman`s achievement, here`s a look at the list of holders of India`s highest film honour:
