Celina mourns the demise of ‘Apna Sapna Money Money’ director Sangeeth Sivan

Sangeeth Sivan was undergoing treatment for a urinary infection at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai and suffered a cardiac arrest.

The sudden demise of veteran filmmaker Sangeeth Sivan has left the film industry in shock and grief. Several film fraternity members took to social media to express condolence at the passing away of Sangeeth, who had directed several Bollywood films. Actress Celina Jaitley, who worked with Sivan in the film ‘Apna Sapna Money Money’ took to X to pay tribute.
Celina wrote, “SHOCKED! Director and screenwriter and an amazing human being SANGEET SIVAN who gave me and the audience the phenomenal unforgettable character of SANIYA BADNAAM is no more. Shocked to hear of his untimely demise. One of the most positive, calm and fun directors that I have ever worked with @sangeethsivan sir is no more. Since we first met for the script narration of APNA SAPNA MONEY MONEY he always called me SANIYA and I always called him BOSS. We laughed so much when we discussed the scenes. His face was always full of positive energy and his smile reached out to you in absolute appreciation. I did not realise when we last spoke on my birthday this November that it would be the last time.”
