Bipasha Basu reveals daughter Devi was born with two holes in her heart
During an Instagram live with Neha Dhupia, Bipasha Basu revealed her and Karan Singh Grover`s daughter Devi was born with two holes in her heart and had to be operated on. The actress shared that the little girl went for surgery when she was 3 months old

Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover are parents to a beautiful baby girl named Devi Basu Singh Grover. She was born to the celebrity couple on November 12, 2022. As Devi turned six months old, Bipasha and Karan shared her first picture with the world on social media. While the Basu-Grover family is in a happy space now, they went through a traumatic phase when the little baby girl had to be operated on for a Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD). During a conversation with Neha Dhupia on Instagram Live, Bipasha revealed Devi was born with two holes in her heart and underwent surgery when she was 3 months old.
In a video shared by Bipasha on Instagram, the actress shared she and Karan got to know about the holes in Devi`s heart merely three days after her birth. "Our journey has been very different from any normal mother-father, it has been a lot tougher than the smile that I have on my face right now. I would not wish this to happen to any mother. For a new mother, when you get to know that... I got to know on the third day of me having a baby that our baby is born with two holes in her heart. I thought I`ll not share this, but I`m sharing this because I feel that there are a lot of mothers, who helped me in this journey, and it was very difficult to find those mothers," Bipasha told.
