Big screen outing for Naagin, to be made into three-film franchise

Nikhil Dwivedi is planning a Bollywood version of the supernatural show, Naagin. He will produce a three-film franchise, which will be helmed by Vishal Furia, who directed the Marathi horror film Lapachhapi (2017). Ekta Kapoor's show about shape-shifting serpents is currently in its fifth season. Karishma Tanna and Anita Hassanandani have been part of the fantasy drama.
Producer Nikhil Dwivedi will bring the Super Natural Powers of the 'Icchadhari Nagin' to the big screen again which will showcase some very exciting Visual Effects to highlight the super powers. The three-film franchise will be directed by Vishal Furia. While his web series Criminal Justice was very well received by the industry and the audience alike, he had already proved his mettle as a director with the Marathi superhit Lapachhapi, which won several awards including in some major world festivals. Currently, Vishal is also helming the Hindi remake of Lapachhapi, titled Chhori.
