Ashmit Patel recently went to Fiji Islands to get his fill of adventure sports.
The actor obviously loves them! CS caught up with him to find out about his trip:

It’s out of the world!
It was one of the most beautiful experiences I’ve ever had; a wonderful mix of work, pleasure and soul searching. The place, the food, the people are all so amazing that I didn’t miss home at all during my three weeks there.
Untouched beauty
Commercialisation has ruined most island paradises but Fiji is one of the few places in the world that is still pretty untouched and pristine. The clarity of the water there is something that must be seen to believe. I had the chance to get a closer look at the fish and coral with snorkelling and scuba diving which had been on my to-do list for a few years now.
In a different time zone
I didn’t face any problems adjusting to the climate in Fiji as it’s pretty much the same as Mumbai. The only exception being that there’s no pollution. What I did face a problem with though was adjusting to the time difference. Fiji is 6.5 hours ahead of India and so I went through a major jet lag. It took almost a week to get my body clock in sync with the weather.
