Anushka Sharma-Varun Dhawan celebrate India's Independence Day Sui Dhaaga Style!

A film about finding love and respect through self-reliance, Sui Dhaaga - Made in India has paired Varun and Anushka together for the first time, making them the most exciting jodis to come together on screen

On the occasion of our Independence Day, superstars Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan are celebrating it with a special gesture that will touch your hearts. Like the name of their film Sui Dhaaga – Made in India, artisans from the corners of our country have got together to create a handmade Tricolor that celebrates Indian craftsmanship that's famous the world over. Varun and Anushka shot with the handmade flag as they waved the national flag with immense pride.
Producer of the film Maneesh Sharma says, "Our film is a celebration of Indian craftsmanship that is winning hearts and accolades across the globe and this is our salute to our motherland. Craftsmen from different parts of the country have worked together to make this special flag. We have combined Chikankari thread work from Lucknow, Kashida style from Kashmir and Phulkari needlework from Punjab to create this flag. Chikankari work salutes the saffron, Kashida is present on the white and Phulkari work makes the green of our national flag."
