Anurag Kashyap's daughter calls him out for defending 'Animal'

Sandeep Reddy Vanga`s film `Animal` which was released in theatres in December last year broke box office records but got extreme reactions from the audience and critics. Amid criticism, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap called Sandeep the most misunderstood, judged, and revealed filmmaker at the moment. Kashyap had also met Vanga in person earlier this year to congratulate him on the success of the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer. Now, in a new episode of his daughter Aaliyah Kahsya`s podcast `Young, Dumb and Anxious`, Anurag was asked, "What in the world was the Sandeep Reddy Vanga post?`
Aaliyah expressed her disappointment at her father promoting `Animal` which she termed as "horrible and misogynistic".
