Bappi Lahiri&rsquo;s son Bappa who weds Taneesha Verma, daughter of action coordinator Mahendra Verma, have planned an elaborate sangeet ceremony on April 15. As reported &lsquo;Wedding bells&rsquo; (Hitlist, March 5) the Lahiris are having a big fat Bollywood wedding as both the families are associated with the industry. The wedding ceremony is on April 16 followed by a reception on April 18. <img alt="" src="/imagedata/2012/apr/Bappa-Taneesha.jpg" /> The bridal couple Bappa Lahiri and Taneesha Verma Says Bappa, &ldquo;Music is the mainstay of our lives so obviously the sangeet ceremony will dominate with dad and his tunes.&rdquo; The who&rsquo;s who of Bollywood especially from the music industry have been invited and several of them will also be performing. &ldquo;All the musicians who have been with my dad will perform live. <img alt="" src="/imagedata/2012/apr/bappacard.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 754px; " /> Bappa Lahiri and Taneesha Verma&rsquo;s wedding invitation There are lots of surprise items being put up by family members and friends. There is also an audio-visual looking at the Lahiris and their music to add to the fun,&rdquo; adds Bappa.u00a0 Here&rsquo;s what&rsquo;s in store at the sangeet.... THE FAMILY: Bappa and his bride will dance to his father&rsquo;s Ooh La La track. Bappi Lahiri and his wife Chitrani as well as Bappa&rsquo;s sister Rema and her hubby Govind Bansal along with their kid Swastik will also dance to Bappi&rsquo;s tracks. Taneesha&rsquo;s father Mahender Verma and uncle Tinnu Verma along with their other brothers will do a skit together. THE MUSIC MAKERS: The special guests Daler Mehndi,Vishal-Shekhar, Alka Yagnik and Mika will perform. THE FRIENDS: Shraddha Kapoor (Shakti Kapoor&rsquo;s daughter) who is Taneesha&rsquo;s best pal will get jiggy to a medley of tracks which include Bebo O Bebo and Teri Or. While among Bappa&rsquo;s friends Mahakshay (Mimoh) Chakraborthy will do a re-enactment of his father Mithun&rsquo;s I Am A Disco Dancer track. Sophie Chowdhry is doing a Chikni Chameli act.
