Amitabh Bachchan penned a poem for his grand-daughter Aaradhya on her fourth birthday. The 73-year-old actor, who inherits the finesse in writing from his father, noted poet, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, tried to capture the innocence and purity of children through his poem. Aaradhya turned four on November 16.

The "Piku" star took to his blog to share the piece of writing. "They are the world... They are the 'being' that beckons for all that is known and unknown... For all that needs attention and concern... For all that has been looked upon as sensitive and of gift of nature... They are the new born... They are the toddlers... They are the frocked and panted little geniuses... They are our future and our present... They are now... We are then...," the poem read.
