AICWA demands legal action againt Poonam Pandey for faking death

Model Poonam Pandey recently faked her own death to `spread awareness` about cervical cancer. However, it has not gone down well with people who were upset with the news of her death and the model has been facing backlash ever since. Many have urged Mumbai Police to take strict action against Poonam for spreading false news.
The All-Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) also demanded an FIR against her. On Saturday, AICWA took to their official X handle and called for legal action not just against Poonam but her manager too. They condemned the publicity stunt and argued that “no one in the film industry stoops to such levels”.
