Karan Johar has made all his directorial ventures with Shah Rukh Khan, which also includes Khan’s cameo in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The only film he made without him was his 2012 hit Student of the Year. It launched the careers of three debutants - Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, and Sidharth Malhotra. Today, the film and the trio complete nine years in the industry.
