It was just a few days ago when Mannara Chopra slammed Akasa Air for their misbehaviour; now it looks like the airline has decided to reply to the actress. Earlier, while tweeting, Mannara shared that she was travelling with Akasa Airlines for the second time, and the first time, the team had damaged her luggage. Additionally, this time they were quite rude to her.
First, while responding to her, the airline apologized to the actress but denied her request to waive the fee. But now, it looks like the airline has taken the higher road as they put out a long statement stating that Mannara`s demands were unreasonable. In a long note, Akasa Air hit back at Mannara Chopra and wrote, “Hi Mannara, in reference to your travel on Akasa Air flight QP 1719 from Delhi to Mumbai on February 18, 2024, we would like to clarify the situation: In accordance with our baggage policy. check-in baggage exceeding the 15 kg limit are subject to excess fees. In this instance, the checked baggage exceeded the limit, requiring excess baggage fee that was consistently requested to be waived. Our team requested your adherence to the airline policy.”
