Aankhen 2: Sidharth Malhotra to share the screen space with Amitabh Bachchan?

Amid buzz that he will feature in Aankhen 2, the sequel to the 2002 thriller drama, Sidharth Malhotra fuelled speculation through an Instagram post. He shared a video, which focussed on his eyes with Jay Sean song, Eyes on you, playing in the background. Though there has been talk about the second outing of the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer for the last several years, the project did not take off. Now, there is renewed interest in the film with Malhotra said to be sharing screen space with Big B.
Apart from this project which is yet to be officially announced, Sidharth Malhotra has a busy 2021. The actor has Mission Majnu, opposite Rashmika Mandanna, which is a film on India`s most ambitious covert operation. For the uninitiated, the story is inspired by real events set in the 1970s, which is considered as one of the courageous missions in the heart of Pakistan that forever changed the relationship between the two nations. Mission Majnu is produced by RSVP and Guilty By Association and will go on floors February 2021.
