Aamir Khan, elated at his next production venture "Peepli Live", a black comedy about rural life in India, has entered the competition section at the Sundance Film Festival 2010, starting Jan 21.

"Peepli Live" is Anusha Rizvi's directorial debut and stars mostly first-timers.

"I am so happy and proud of my writer-director Anusha Rizvi. 'Peepli Live' has been selected at the Sundance Film Festival in the competition section... If I'm not mistaken, it is the first Indian feature film to make it to the competition section there," Aamir posted on his blog.
