Aamir Khan’s fascination for Jainism continues. The superstar held an over two-hour discussion with muni Mahendra Kumar and other senior monks at the Jain Terapant Bhawan, Elphinstone Road. Khan expressed his views on Jain philosophy as well as on matters of spirituality and science. A picture of the meeting was shared by the Vishwa Jain Sangathan.
Every year, Mr Perfectionist seeks forgiveness with a ‘bowed head and folded hands’ in his annual Michhami Dukkadam message on the last day of the Jain festival of Paryushana. Khan apologises for whatever offences he may have knowingly or unknowingly caused over the last 12 months in thought, word or action.
