Anil Kapoor’s ‘Woh Saat Din’ that came out today on June 23, 1983 completes 38 years. It was the story of love, memories, sacrifice, and heartbreak. A Hindi film recently completed 22 years that tackled similar emotions, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’.
The era of the 80s was largely dominated by Kapoor, who was experimenting with almost all characters and genres. He had a courtroom drama in the form of ‘Meri Jung’, potboilers in the form of ‘Tezaab’, and ‘Karma’, family dramas in the form of the iconic ‘Ram Lakhan’, and critics-friendly choices like ‘Eeshwar’ and ‘Parinda’.
