Deepika Padukone Birthday 2024: It`s been 16 years of Deepika Padukone and one cannot stop gushing over her growth as an actor and performer. Belonging to a sports family, she ventured into modelling before exploring the world of cinema. The Bengaluru-based statuesque Deepika made her debut with Farah Khan`s Om Shanti Om co-starring Shah Rukh Khan, Arjun Rampal, Kirron Kher and Shreyas Talpade.
Deepika did Om Shanti Om when she was just 21 years old whereas her co-star, superstar Shah Rukh was around 42 years old. Even back then, the actress would make many men go weak in the knee. However, some found it difficult to digest the fact that she was romancing a man who was almost 20 years senior to her by age.
