The 77th Cannes Film Festival began on a sparkling note on May 14 with the legendary actor Meryl Streep returning to the festival after 35 years. While some major Indian celebrities are set to walk the red carpet in the coming days, television actress Deepti Sadhwani walked the red carpet on day 1. She is well known for her role on the show `Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah`.
Deepti Sadhwani made her Cannes debut in a stunning orange gown with a fur trail which she claims to be a `record-breaking longest trail of gown`. Deepti took to her Instagram handle to share pictures of herself dressed in the orange gown for the film festival. The actress claimed carrying the `longest trail of gown` and wrote, "Honoured to be walking the red carpet for the Opening ceremony of the 77th Cannes Film Festival with the record-breaking longest trail of gown." The actor will be walking the red carpet for three days.
